Few buyers know this critical technical difference: under the same capacity, oil-immersed transformers offer 15% higher overload tolerance than dry-type units. Insulating oil has much higher heat capacity than air, providing stronger thermal buffering and better resistance to sudden load fluctuations, which is ideal for unstable overseas power grids.
